I'm thinking about trying the Soundtaxi 3.1.8 DRM removal utility and was looking for some input from other users as to weather this is a good product or not. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks
Joe

Hello slo_byrne,

I tried the tool, but never liked it so much.
I mean I tried several tools when I was looking for a DRM removal utility and Soundtaxi was one of them. I even decided to buy it...
I didn't like the fact that it is said to do that and that and it really does only half of it :(
You should try some demo of other tools also, before deciding.
When I did that, I tried Noteburner, Tunebite, Soundtaxi, FairUse4WM, etc...
Good luck

Sound Taxi works great for me. I use it for Napster & itunes tracks. I used to use Tunebite but switched to Sound Taxi. The 14.95 version is all I need.

Hi!
I tried the software you mentioned but wasn't very impressed.I finally decided to use Tunebite.I found it great that it removes DRM protection but it also converts unprotected audio and video files.

Two months ago I was looking on Google for a legal program which could free the DRM protection and I found some programs, but I decided to use Tunebite, because, beside removing DRM, it can convert audio and video file, too and also can create ringtones for my cell (which is awesome)

I'm also looking for a program for removing DRM protection because I have tons of music and I recently bought an mp3 player. It never crossed my mind that I could'n put the songs on the mp3player when I bought it.I'm thinking of using the program you're talking about; I don't have time to search and try all sorts of programs. Can you tell me more about it, how does it work?

It is very useful this Tunebite, for more information click here.
But these days I found out that a new version of Audials One was released and I' m thinking to try it because it has 3 programs in just one (Radiotracker, Tunebite and Videoraptor). It is a great deal, because it is cheaper than if you get all 3 programs. You can search here

I think Tunebite does the same.I didn't have time to try it yet, but I remember I read somewhere that it records the files and saves them in unprotected formats.I don't see nothing illegal in this, as long as the soft doesn't mess with the drm it's fine by me.

well, honestly never tried using tunebite with files form spiralfrog but I don't think it converts from this one.anyways I guess the only way to find out if it works with some files you're not sure of is to try the demo, this should clear up things.
