hey guys,
am having major problems backing up"gangs of new york" on dvd.
has anyone else tried and failed or is it just me.
am using dvd shrink and nero burning rom but it wont allow me to back it to my hard drive it will only copy the vob files will not copy anything else. anyone got any ideas or can help? is the film so big that dvd shrink cant handle it?

There are some DVD's that DVD Shrink just will not rip. For instances like this, I'd advise having DVD Decrypter handy. When shrink fails, use decrypter in FILE mode. Then, once it's ripped, you can process/compress with DVD Shrink and burn it as usual. Problem solved.

rip jsut the movie portions off both disks usin shrink, then open shrink and open both files add them to ur sidk and compress.

Hey, I've backed up gangs of new york a few times with absolutely no problems. I've never tried DVDShrink, also use DVD2One. Plays great on stand alone also.
