The *Video capturing from analog sources* forum right here at AfterDawn appears to fit the bill.

Click the *forums home* link on the top of this page and you'll see it listed near the bottom.

There is no problem so big, that a brick placed against the proper skull cannot fix =)

I"m sorry may be my question was not well understood. What I meant was to record the regular tape cassette from home stereo to the hard drive. I tried before but the sound comes with noise.

This question is so totally out of place that its no wonder its not being understood! This isn't even the right site!

All I can say is that I have recorded mini-discs to my hard drive by connecting the line out on my MD player to the line in on my computer and using Camtasia as a capture program. No problem with noise, but I think that cassette tape, OTOH, would yield a LOT of noise and you would have to use some kind of equalizer or noise filter to try to cancel it out.

Bottom line: Hit Google and try to find a more relevant forum that can give you better advice.

actually i devised a way but it requires some connections and bullshitting. you need to have a sterio that has Audio out in rca form, u kno the red/white cables. i hooked those up to my audigy platnum front panel and recored the tape through creative recorder audi in mode, but if u don't have an audigy u can get a audio-to-line in jack at radio shack. and record it someother way. it worked great but experiment a few times to get ur volume right.email me if u have any questions
