M3 Lite Perfect DS Dump Assistance Needed

I have both an M3 Lite Perfect and a M3 Real. I have been trying to get a working dump of my New Super Mario Bros game. However every time I try to make a clean dump and then switch to the M3 Real to play it, I freeze.

Here are the steps I take:

- I put my MicroSD into my M3 Lite Perfect
- Load dumper.nds
- Press Select
- Put my DS cart in
- Wait a few minutes
- When it says to switch out the cart, I put my PassMe back in

Then I turn off my DS and put the MicroSD into my M3 Real. The preview image is all staticy, like it was DIDL patched.

I realize I could torrent this file but the reason I am doing this is because I am giving a M3 DS Real to my younger brother for Christmas and I want to dump his ROMs so he doesn't have to switch carts each time. I also don't want to rely on torrent dumps, just my own carts for backup.

I am using the newest firmware on both M3 carts. I am also using the dumper.nds file from linFox Domain. I don't know what else it could be.

EDIT: I also tried Mario Kart Racing with the same problem, it just freezes on me. Any ideas would be great! :)
