I think I half bricked my PSP. I was trying to load a new theme for 3.71 m33-3 when i was prompted to shut off my PSP. Now whenever it is turned on it says sony computer entertainment, then freezes right there, w/ the words still on the screen. I have still acess to files via toggle usb, a pandoras battery and such.

yea, thats definately a semi-brick
did u back up your flash0 files?
if so, just delete them all through recovery and recopy them... that should fix it...
if not, then ull have to do a recovery either with pandora or the recovery menu/folder deal.
my suggestion, always back up ur flash0 after an upgrade

Thanks, but my Pandora's Batttery won't work( a possible side effect of semi-brick?) so I'm kinda out of options. Any help is appreciated
Option 1) Buy a new PSP
Option 2) Have someone call god and ask for help
Option 3) Napalm

like i said, you could use the recovery folder in recovery menu
try this
Recovering the PSP back to 1.5
Q: How do I go back to 1.5, in case I Semi-Bricked the PSP?
A: You go into recovery mode, and follow these instructions
How to downgrade to 1.50 from the Recovery Menu
This can be used to fix your PSP if it Semi-bricks, as long as you can access the recovery menu.
download and Extract the RECOVERY folder
http://www.mediafire.com/?1y1ymjb4ffd
Copy the RECOVERY folder to PSP/GAME/
Start your PSP in Recovery Mode, then choose "Run program at /PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/EBOOT.PBP". Read the instructions and press x. This will Downgrade your psp to 1.50 version. Don't shutdown the PSP or remove the memory stick until the update is finished.
Once finished, shutdown the psp and restart manually to 1.50.
***btw, do u have a magic memory stick to go with pandora battery?
it wont work without the memory stick

It worked, and therefore, I love you. I'll never XMB themes again... or will I?
Edit: Sorry for doubleposting... anyway, I'm at 1.50 so how do I upgrade?

Just a word of advice, next time back up your flash0, it'll save all that hassle you just went through.
You can recover a semi-brick in about 10-15 seconds...
PSP, all the way from 1.00 to 5.50 GEN D2 - DS Lite w/ M3DS Real (M3 Sakura v1.34)
PS3 3.01 - iPod Touch 2G 16GB Jailbroken - Xbox 360 60GB - PC, Q6600, 3GB DDR2, GTX260 (216) 896MB
