I found to game that i backup to be around 400mb, i burned one to cd b/c the size, it didnt even boot, was it bad media or even know they are 400mb they need to be burned to dvd, not cd??!?

That all depends on your xbox dvd drive.

Try a cd-rw as they all seem to read those.

As above, Only the Samsung drive and some Phillips will read CD-R.

All drives read CD-RW.
