I haven't had this problem before-EVERY channel lost and no channels found when I do a scan. Is this a nationwide problem?

hello guys i'm a new member and i have a serious problem; the remote control of my digibox is damage, can anybody help please i would like to purchase a new one but don't know where. i'm a ex cw user and the number on my digibox is FTA 101

If you have a mobile phone with a camera, switch it to camera mode. Point the remote at the camera lens and press some buttons , and you should see the infra-red LED flashing on the screen. If you don't see it flashing, then yes, the remote is dead.If you do see it flashing, then it's not the remote.
