Anyone got the new codes for c***** dublin? cany find then on Fergus's or Leslie's pages???

Cheers. I have version 4.00, on a genuine starview box. Is there new version I could upgrade to which auto updates?

4.00 is the correct firmware for genuines
Press Menu then 1570 and go down to "Set Default Key"
Press OK , and tune into S*Y Sports and let it update
If it works , please send me the new codes :)

Hi All
thanks for the codes
They have worked mostly
Sentanta sports 1 and a few of the musics stations
are comming in very badly and it keeps comming up
scrambled station on just these few.
Any Ideas?
The match is to badly scrambled to watch it.

Folks, I have entered the new codes and they seem to work ok for some channels. Does anyone have the new frequency list ? NTL West Dublin user.

You could try rescanning your channels in again but there does seem to be a problem in the D22 and D24 and D8 areas down to cc problem

hi fergus, i only just got my starview box its a genuine one but it just froze out of the blue and is stuck on the screen that just says "the box" i read all the instructions on reflashing it but it wont work i heard something about jtagging it or sumting do u know if it is possible for me to do or do i need to get someone else to do it if so how much does it cost and wud there be people in dublin capable of doing it

I know you only got this box but is it the starview 1 or the Starview 2The box if it is the box turn it off at the back and then back on again and it will be fine ok when you are not using the settop box press the red button and put it in standby ok

its starview 2 the box i only bought it a week ago i used it and it was perfect till yesterday it just froze wen i turned it on and just the big title"the box" is frozen in the middle of the screen

If you are in the Uk you need to update the firmware to v4.51 if in irl you need to use v4.50 ok

fully downloaded the v4.50 firmware but still no luck still frozen on the screen saying"the box"

Did you try unpluging the box completely and leave for a little while then try to plug in again and see what happens

N*L ARE SENDING OUT SIGNAL 2 BLOCK ALL BOXES DWN IN WATERFORD WE HVE BEEN ADVISED 2 DISSCONNECT THEM & REMOVE ALL WIRES SUCH AS SCART LEADS CABLE ETC & SWITCH THEM BAC ON 2MORRO NTE

And how are the boxes going to execute an exe file not like an email you have to open
they only can use data streams and video
so best to keep the scare tactics to a minimal and wait and see what happens
