For the past few days, I've been trying different tools to try to convert/rip an unencrypted DVD-5 to MPEG/AVI format so I can then further use the Sansa Media Converter program to copy the video file to my SanDisk 8GB e280 Sansa MP3/video player. CNET says this about the Sansa Media Converter utility: "The utility is simple to use, and it can convert most popular video formats (MPEG-4, WMV, DivX, and so on) into the 15fps MJPEG format." (and so does the utility itself)

My problem is that I can convert one of my unencrypted DVDs to 1/2 of a CD (350MB) (or any size) using AutoGK and it will convert using the Sansa media converter. The e280 will play that video just fine. HOWEVER, when I try to convert another unencrypted DVD in my series and use the same settings, THIS video always fails when I attempt to convert using the Sansa Media Converter using any size in AutoGK. I don't know what the deal is...
Do you guys have any suggestions for this? The video quality doesn't matter as much since the screen on the Sansa e280 is around 1.5" or less. Mainly the audio...
If I simply throw the .vob files from the unencrypted DVD into the Sansa Media Converter, the program converts these files just fine. However, I'd rather compress ALL of the .vob files for the entire movie into one smaller playable file onto the Sansa.
