I am using Memorex DVD-R, which is what I have always used. When you say "movie only", what do you mean. I just click "clone DVD". I must be doing something wrong.

if your doing the movie only click the top box Copy DVD Titles. There is a problem with both movies War has some bad cells at the beginning causing it not to playback.I'm going to use the anydvd ripper first then run the file though fixvts and see if that will fix it and let you know. with Shoot Em Up you want to pick the second title that 1:26 long the first title i think is a trick. so just do the movie only

If you want to rip DVD's to dvd format then use DVD Decrypter. If you want to rip to avi, mpeg etc. then use Free DVD Ripper 2.25(Ignore the free dvd link)
Download Free DVD Ripper 2.25 from freewarefiles.com and DVD Decrypter from here.

Can't believe nobody's mentioned the wonderful combination of Nero Recode 2+ AnyDVD.
On the highest quality mode with Advanced Analysis checked, Recode surpasses Clone DVD by miles...
The main reason I don't use Clone DVD is because it doesn't allow you to manually set the compression ratios of the main movie, the extras, the menus, etc... It automatically sets it itself and most of the time it leaves a bit of free space to waste..
Recode also uses DVDShrink's compression algorithm and codec, so it's absolutely top-notch. Most of the time even on the highest quality settings it takes a 1.5hrs max to reencode 2 hour movies.
It's straightforward, lets you choose what you want to include/exclude, set compression ratios and it gives brilliant results. There hasn't been a DVD I couldn't back up with this thing. Most of the shrunken DVD5's I create you can't even tell the difference on a normal 68-80cm, non-HD television.
