Did you use the SLIM Battery?
If so did you backup the battery EEPROM?
If you did then go HERE and download ospbt_0.4.zip .
Extract the file and drag the ospbt folder to the /PSP/GAME folder. Then place the eeprom.bin file to the root of the memory stick. Start the application via Game Menu memory Stick and choose the option that says "write serial only from ms0:/eeprom.bin.
If you didn't save the eeprom.bin you might have a slight issue.
There is an option on the pan3xx you used to convert to pandora that will let you generate a fake serial. You could have side effects if you sue this option. I have no idea what will even happen with a SLIM Battery when using that option.

You know what?
I'm just going to keep it as a pandora battery for just in case scenarios like this. And just buy a new battery. Is that totally possible? I could even use it load CFW on friends PSP's?
So it may be in my best interest to keep it, right?
Besides in the mad rush to try and fix this at 4am last night (LOL) i didn't save my batteries original oe eeprom.bin. So it'd would be a shame to risk it and potentially ruin a perfectly good Slim Pandoras Battery.

The only PSP's you will be able to use the Pandora SLIM on is SLIM PSP's because the SLIM Battery doesn't fit into FAT PSP's.
But yeah if you didn't back up the battery eeprom I would keep it as a Pandora Battery instead of taking the chance of screwing it up permanently.

UPDATE: I just went ahead and ran followed your tutorial and ran the unbricker. And well i'm sure you already know what happened.
It worked!
My PSP Slim is back up and running. Now i have another slight problem though. It doesn't seem to want to start up normally with the battery in it. Do i have to run the pandora generator again and set it back to normal?
Great did you use the pandora application i gave you to turn your battery back to normal...and the used larry's universal unbricker to make the MMS...if so
boot up your psp with the AC adapter, then put in your battery without taking the AC adpter out.
and then just run the pan3xx from your GAME folder and run it on your game menu on the XMB and just use the command to turn battery back to normal...PHEW...thank god it worked..;)
So larry do you think you can run other things on a semibricked psp from the recovery menu...like he did with this application..?
EDIT: Ooops i didn't see that there was a secon page to this thread...XD.
So nevermind about the battery...but
were you actually able to run the pan3xx from the run program at.PSP/@&^%/&^#/&.....?

Yeah I did it like you guys told me...
Using the Pandora application you told me about I Made the battery a "Pandora's Battery" and then used the same application to format the MS (since i did not have an XMB to access "System Settings")
Quote: were you actually able to run the pan3xx from the run program at.PSP/@&^%/&^#/&.....?
Actually yes, but it required me to do some changes to get it to load. I actually renamed the pan3xx file to RECOVERY and then was able to run it from the PSP/GAME/@&^%/&^#/& command in the recovery menu. Worked like a charm.
Knowing that the battery was "pandoraized" I then follwed Larry's Unbricking instructions and reloaded 3.71 M33-2. And Wha-La the thing was better than new, and working again.
I then hit up Dark Alex.org and d'loaded the M33-4 update and updated it back to version 4. And it works great Thanks guys for all the help.
To anyone with a slim that reads this...the single most BEST info i can say is...BACKUP YOUR PSP BATTERIES "eeprom" serial number right from the start if you plan to keep the battery. It's the only thing i wished i did.
Again thanks for all the help guys.

Yup..and also dump your NAND
using this here and then after dumped look for the dump in the root of your MS and rename it to nandimage.flash
And use this only if your psp gets permanently bricked.

Oh well i actually meant to tell you to take all the stuff out of the pan3xx folder and out it in the folder named recovery..but you basically did the same thing by renaming the pan3xx folder to recovery XD.
And remembr make sure to back up your NAND
@larry...will NAND fix your psp...incase of a permanent brick.?

It should but it isn't 100% guarantied.
But restoring the NAND dump should be the last resort. Plus you shouldn't use anyone else's NAND dump but your own.

Ok....what is "NAND"?
LOL
I'm going to assume it's the PSP's Root firmware. Like the folders you find when you toggle Flash0 from the recovery menu (i.e. dic, font, kd, registry, vsh).
Am i close?
Oddly i've seen a ton of posts here about backing it up but never bothered to look at the posts since i never planned to kill my unit. I guess it's a good thing i fixed this myself...the guy with the pandora battery that was I going to have to give $20 to has never returned my e-mail. So i would have been out of a PSP all this time.
YIKES!!!!
I use it litereally everyday so that would have been horrid.

You can backup your NAND dump with the Universal Unbricker + Pandora battery as well.
Theres an option to press Square to back up the NAND dump. The just transfer it over to your PC for safe keeping.
