Ok my psp fw is 2.71 normal and i want to install this

there are many websites and vids that say i can do this but never say i can directly. what i want to play is Final fantasy crisi core for the psp but its cso and i have no idea how to play it on my barly moded psp.

the mods i have now are:
hend(for irshell)
eloader 0995
and some games that work with these progrmas

so what i need is either a mod for 2.71 to play the cso's and iso's or i need to downgrade by upgradeing to 2.80 and down to 1.5(rather not though) and if i do downgrade im stuck from there.

You need to downgrade to 1.50 before you can install 3.03 OE-C. I don't recomend that in the first place, but whatever.. it's your call. Anyways, find out your motherboard version and then you use a downgrader to downgrade it. After you're on 1.50, then you can use the guides to install 3.03 OE-C.

well i already checked when i got it to see if it was one of those t3 thingys and its not and i have an other psp that i got the second day of the release but its on 3.7x idk so unless my psp can get a way to play my game without downgrading im stuck till i buy the japanese umd and then the english ^_^ lol

i was just thinking the game was ripped from the disc and it became an iso right? if so cant i uncompress the game and burn it or put it on my 3.71 or 3.7x w/e it is?

As marlino23 said before you need to downgrade BOTh of your PSPs if you want to play those games, you CANT burn them or uncompress them, dude, just hear the senior members, we have been there and we are overthere now! So LISTEN!

As stated above you need to downgrade the 2.71 PSP FAT to 1.50 then install custom firmware.

You need to find out what type of Motherboard your 3.71 PSP FAT has.

Do this by opening up the UMD Bay and look at the top right hand corner of the motherboard.




If there is text there go HERE and follow the section under -2.71 PSP (TA-82 or TA-86)

If there is NO text go HERE and follow the section under -2.71 PSP

After you are downgraded to 1.50 (check system settings, system information and says 1.50 under system software) go HERE to upgrade your PSP to 3.71 M33-4 with 1.50 ADD ON-2. (This uses Pandora Battery + Magic Memory Stick) This method is the safest way for you to update to the newest custom firmware.

You can use the Pandora Battery + Magic Memory Stick to update to 3.71 M33-4 on both PSP's.

After you are at 3.71 M33-4 go HERE and follow these steps to get your ISO/CSO games working from memory Stick.

ok ok i checked for mother board on both and there all good and im getting downgrading software but idk what to get the 2.71 says you need a friend with a 1.5 psp and i only have 1 friend with a psp and his is in 12 pieces(in other words its not working) the other is a 2.80 tut i found on youtube but what if it dosent work then all i have is wither a bricked psp or a 2.80 that none of my mods work on. and i would like to say thanks for all your help all ^_^

Read the post I gave more carefully.

It gives links to a downgrader (make sure you get the proper 1 for whatever motherboard you have) that you can use to downgrade the PSP 2.71 to 1.50 firmware (No other PSP is needed).

Once you have that PSP downgraded to 1.50 use the next guide to create a Pandora Battery + Magic Memory Stick to install custom firmware to both PSP systems.
