Whenever I have my gba expansion in my ds, the battery life goes away really fast. Is there any way to keep it in my ds without it using the battery? Thanks.

Is it the expansion with the rumble feature? Maybe the rumble is reducing your battery? Which expansion is it?

I'm not really sure then. Just pop it out when you are trying to conserve battery life.

does anyone else have this problem? To test this out I took it out when the battery life was red, and it became green again. I don't know why it takes power from the gba expansion when i am not using it.

I think your just going to have to leave the pack out of your DS when you aren't using it. I've never heard of that problems but it doesn't seem like there is a way of preventing the pack from drawing battery power. If there is no on/off switch and no internal power option then it seems your only choice is to remove the pack.
