I just bought this Nero DVD Video plugin and downloaded it but it wouldnt install and seems to have wiped out Nero Startsmart which has been running fine, came installed with my system. Without Startsmart I cant try again because it is the doorway, Startsmart will not open or execute , on execute i get a message saying "initialization failed because of a problem accessing the registry, make sure the registry breance HKEY-current-users\software ahead has full read write". Cant remove my Nero either, says the file is corrupted or missing...so what happened and can I fix it, Nero Support is very slow to respond

Do you have a restore point before the date that the plugin was installed?
Start > All programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore > Restore to an earlier time.
