R4 DS Cheat Help

I need help on how to update the cheats for r4 ds. I made cheats for Yugioh World Championship 2008 already and added them to my micro sd card. But when i got to the r4 menu on the ds, it had no cheat (Y) button under the game name. I think the game is new and the cheats on the r4 aren't recent enough to have cheats for this game. I want to know how to fix this.

With the M3 DS Simply you are supposed to put created cheats in a "system" folder. IDK about the R4. Put it in the folder that u update when u change firmware.
