What were you trying to burn? Did you convert a video file to DVD format? Maybe you created a Video Cd instead. Give us more info. What burner do you have? Is it capable of burning RW discs?
With a collection of stills and videos taken with my Canon digital camera I used Windows Movie Maker to make a show. I then burned it with DeepBurner to make a DVD that will show on a PC very nicely. Tht DVD will not, howeer, play on a DVD that plays on a Telelvision.
I was told on one of our forums that i should use NeroVision which I did. I read nowhere i hd to use a certain type of DVD.
If you need any other info please ask. I have a feeling i left something very simple out
At what point did you use NeroVision? Here is a guide.
When you used Windows Movie Maker, you probably obtain an WMV file that you burned to a disc as data. Unless you have a player that supports WMV, the disc will not be readable in your DVD player. The file needs to be converted to DVD format in order to be compatible with a standalone DVD player. You can redo the whole thing in Nero Vision, save the DVD compilation to hard disc and then burn it to a DVD
disc, or you can convert the WMV that you already put together to a DVD structure.
I made some assumptions here about your proccess, so please let me know if I am far off.
