When the app is open my internet speeds crash. Anything outside azureus dealing with internet goes slow no matter how slow the program is d/l. I close azureus and the net speed returns to normal. ISP is windstream. any thoughts.

does it do it even if you aren't downloading anything? Is there a limit on your upload speed? If your upload speed is going full on you're going to have a slow connection.

Yes, Even if it is not moving any files it will do this. It even messes up my Vonage.

I think I figured it out. I went into options\transfer\auto-speed. I placed a check mark on enable when downloading and seeding. I then browsed the web and it worked fine. Vonage is no longer messed up. Im still going to experament with some other settings to see what happens. Will let you know.

Here is the update. After playing with others settings I have found that was the solution. My problem is fixed.

Hope this helps others
