I ripped the DVD with DVD Fab. Opened the file with Shrink and backed it up. However when I open up Recode, import the file that I backuped from shink it locks up Recode. It will import the file, and looks to be fine. Shows the DVD status at the bottom. However, nothing works. Can't go any further, just locks up.

Any suggestions?

Update. Just tried downloading DVDFAb Platinum (as I saw on some shrink problems people were having success with that). However didn't try to use Fab to burn, just backup. Did't work. Same not responding.

Btw, I am using the lastes version of DVD Fab (4.0.5.0). DVD Shrink Version 3.2.0.15. Nero 8 (full version all updates installed) and Nero Recode 3. Running Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit.

Try just importing the uncompresed dvd from which you riped with the DVD fab and run that with Nero recode instead of the already compressed one from shrink.

Try the beta of DVDFab HD Decrypter - 4.0.5.1.
