Hi all,

I have a mysterious problem with a DVD created with DVD-lab 1.3.1: after copying a TV movie with two menus on the DVD I checked the disk with DVD Shrink and this gives the following error just before end of the movie:

invalid nv_pck: nv_vobu_ea
The reason is: Unknown

The DVD plays OK in a standalone player but playing with PowerDVD it jumps to chapters in the beginning of the movie in the last few minutes of the track. The menu is OK and the chapter entries are OK.

Material for the DVD consists of MPV video stream and MPA audio stream generated by DVD-lab. Video source was a M2V that is transcoded with TMPGEnc to VBR2 at lower bitrate than the 8000 kbps original. The video stream is some ms longer than the audio stream - hope this shouldn't be bad.

What can I do? I think I should not ignore this error?!

Thanks Oriphus, the first one helped indeed. I've found out that DVD Shrink 2.3 and also 3.0 beta produced this error, and the reason was that I tested the DVD with Roxio's CD/DVD emulator drive - no that's not exact: I made a DVD image with the VIDEO_TS part via the emulator and an edited hybrid part from my hard drive. The fact is that Roxio's emulator gets weird probably above 4GB - then sector adressing fails and due to word wrap it goes back to the beginning.
There was nothing wrong with the original DVD and I spent 3 times re-authoring the DVD to find out what's going on - quite messy.
Cheers
