Mario Kart DS Problem!

Me and my friend were trying to play Mario Kart with DS Download Play+1 Mario Kart Cart. It worked until the Nintendo Logo Appeared and the game like freezed and in the ds with the cart the connection became red.

Help everyone,we tried with diffrent DS's and it didn't work out!
