DMA & CRC ERROR NERO 8 Pleaseeeee help!

DMA when available on 0 & 1 tried un install drivers let win fix on reboot . have used different write speeds on cd & dvds as well as tayio yuden and maxell.i still get the same ERROR what am i doing wrong ? here is the last log.

Is this a new drive? When you installed it did you set the jumper pin on the back of the drive to master or cable select if this is a Dell pc? From the log the drive is on the master connector.
If that's not the case what changed pc since you were last able to burn?

its not del.it is set as master.drive about 3wks old was gr8 at first started frezing up when burning dvds had to kill power to reboot more then once!!!!& now im hear ;(

Ok the dma-crc error is a communication error. I'd try another ide cable - try the one from the other LiteOn.
Make sure using using the 80 wire ide cable - if it looks like a ribbon it will have blue, black and gray connectors.

ok cant switch cables lh-20a1s doesn't use ribbon cable. nothing in the case seamed loose.after reboot i burned a cd with old drive had not tried thet it worked.so got brave and burned a dvd in the new one!2 in fact go figur it worked 15 costers later LOL so i gess i will wate and see ;)

Oops yep the newer LiteOn is a sata so different cables - missed that.
Here's one other thing from your log that if you start having problems again try it:

This driver may be corrupted. You can try doing a clean install of Nero (uninstall w/ the clean tool then reinstall) - a clean install may correct it.
Or use the driver pack - aspi drivers
