burning 6 AVI files to a dvd

Hi can anyone help I have the complete series 5 of only fools and horses as6 AVI files now I have converted each AVI file to IFO, BUP, VOB files now I can burn 1 avi to a DVD easy but my problem is that I want all 6 AVI files on to 1 DVD the max size of the files is 4.3 gb so they will fit but i had to use dvd shrink on the vob files to shrink them down as they were to big after i converted from AVI
i used TMPGEnc and IFO file to convert

heres what i have tryed

I have changed the file name cause as I need to
convert from AVI to vob files 1 at a time the vob file name were the same
eg from 1 avi you get the following files
VIDEO_TS.BUP.IFO,
VIDEO_TS.IFO,
VTS_01_1.VOB,
VTS_01_0.IFO
VTS_01_0.BUP
so on all the other vob,ifo,bup files I changed the file name from 01 to
02,03,04,05, and 06 I put all the files in to the video_ts folder in Nero it
brings up an error message says vts_02_0.ifo is not required I remove that
and it says vts_02.bup not required and it goes on then when all the 02-06
ifo and bup are removed so just the vob files are there is says vts_01_0.ifo
and all the rest up to 06 are not present so i am going round in circles
trying to do it

Hiya clay_ed,

have a look at IFOEdit, it may be what you need (can't be absolutely sure coz I don't know what chapter info, if any, you have in your VOBS), play around with it, read the guides (this site & DOOM9).

I'm pretty sure we can help you.

You need to author that DVD. You can't just add VOB's together.

Perhaps a nice utility called DVD-Lab? Most other DVD authoring software lets you do it as well.

I recently put together several different videos (personal vid-cams of vacations) along with a moving picture show.
