ok i have read the guides and i am about to attempt to downgrade my brothers psp using my psp running 3.71 m33-4. i am alittle confused as to what parts i do with my homebrew and what i do with his ofw psp.i dont want to mess mine up doing this. so using this guide below can someone tell me what part to stop at to do on the ofw psp and will this brick mine.
1) Use mspformat.exe from the Pandora's Folder to format the Memory Stick.
*Open any folder, From the upper menu select Tools-->Folder Options...-->View-->unmark "Hide Extensions for known File Types"--> Apply an then OK.
*Then Copy the "mspformat.exe" from the mspformat folder inside the Padora's Folder to [My Computer/C:]
*Now Open up "Run" from your PC and type in "cmd" and a Black Window should pop up.
*In the Black Window, type in cd c:\ and then hit enter. This should appear, C:\>
*type mspformat.exe YourPSPDriveLetter (example: since mines is letter M, it will look like this, mspformat.exe m)
*Type in Y and hit ENTER. FORMAT COMPLETED... (if you see any files that still exist inside your MS, Delete them manually)
2) Remove the Memory Stick and disable the USB connection.
3) Re-Connect the Memory Stick again via the USB connection of the PSP.
4) Install files using the installer!
5) Remove the Memory Stick and disable the USB connection.
6) Reinsert the memory stick and run the app "battery creator" on the psp.
7) Save Eeprom (the app will close)...Re-open the app and press x to convert battery.
8) You've got yourself magic memory stick + jigkick!

no not yet i was going to but it doesnt explain when to stop using the homebrew psp and use the ofw psp.
Go to Game Menu Memory Stick and run OS Pandora Battery Tool. Press X at warning screen to get to Main Menu.
Select "backup battery eeprom to ms0:/eeprom.bin"
After the eeprom is backed up go to "convert to service mode"
Go to Quiet Now after the Battery has been converted and it will exit to XMB.
im assuming that once i format the magic mem stick then do this part
i put the pandora batt and the mem stick in the ofw psp then continue to the next part as shown here
Turn off the PSP and take out the Battery then re-insert the Battery back in the PSP and the Universal Unbricker Menu should come up. press X to install 3.71 M33 to the PSP.
After the custom firmware is installed take out the Battery and plug the PSP in via AC Adapter and turn the PSP on (without the Battery inserted).
After the PSP boots to XMB place the Battery into the PSP and go to Game Menu Memory Stick and select OS Pandora Battery Tool.
You will get a warning screen just press X to get to the Main Menu. When the Main Menu comes up go to "flash only serial from mso:/eeprom.bin"
Go to Quiet Now and it will exit to the XMB. Now turn off the PSP and unplug it from AC Adapter. Now Take out the Battery then re-insert the Battery replacing the battery cover and use as normal now
