A friend and I will be building our own computers soon and decided to use the same motherboard. We each looked around and found these. Basically what the computers would be used for is gaming, downloading and other internet heavy use (also in the gaming category), music recording and mixing, and programs that liked to use up my processor and RAM with my old computer.

What I wanted to know is which one of these motherboards would be best for all this and if you think I should check out another motherboard I'm open to reccomendations.

I should also add that I want to use a 64 bit system, not sure about my friend but he might. What are some pros and cons of using 64 bit over 32 bit?

64Bit theoretically gives better performance, but the drivers aren't quite there yet. They have made some major improvements though.

Try this motherboard out. It's very good.

You don't need that. I use a PCI-E 2 video card without any problems on my motherboard.

all the newer cards now support PCI-E 2.0, so get a mobo that has it, more future proof. Soner or later, it'll really boost your performance
