Create a DVD from premeire 6.0

I have done a lot of video on CD's but not on DVD. I have a large RAW video file (AVI)captured with miro video. I have premeire 6.0. Should I create an AVI and then convert it to DVD format, If so what is a good conversion software.

hi!

if im right you want your big raw file playable on a dvd!?
ill guess you just import it to premiere and burn it direct to your dvd-burner from there.
otherwise you can convert your file with TMPGEnc, and use encore to burn it.

RAW avi's can't be played on standalone DVD players. (Unless you've got a special player but those need DivX compression anyways.)

What plug-in on Premiere did you use before? A lot of encoders make plug-ins. One that comes to mind is CCE. If you must use TMPGEnc, you can frameserve it from Premiere.
