is it the disc or is it the dvd player that
causes the picture to stop start and some times stops all together.

some discs will play all the way through perfect but the next time i play the disc it will stop and start.

I tend to find that it's the media that the information is stored on. If you don't have any problems with original discs then it definately sounds like the problem

Datasafe are pretty good, personally I use White Label discs, never had any problems. If you are in the UK try this site. Great service and great prices!!
