Can someone tell me how much this PC is worth?
- ASUS P5ND2 SE
- Intel Celeron D 2.4 Ghz CPU
- Crucial 1GB DDR2 667MHZ PC2-5300
- 200GB Seagate HD
- ATI Radeon X300 256MB PCI-E Graphics
- Optiarc DVD/-+RW
- Speeze Quadroflow 775 CPU Cooler
- Silver Mid Tower Case
Its aimed for students and family pc, internet, office the odd game etc, this is not for a hardcore user, nor for a gaming pc.

ASUS P5ND2 SE - £36
Celeron D 2.4 Ghz CPU Couldnt get a Socket 775 M/B Celeron D 2.4Ghz?? but id say - £35
Crucial 1GB DDR2 667MHZ PC2-5300 - £27
200GB Seagate HD - Couldnt get one, so Maxtor 200Gb SATAII 7,200 8Mb for - £32
ATI Radeon X300 256MB PCI-E Graphics - £30
Optiarc DVD/-+RW - 20x speed IDE - £16
Speeze Quadroflow 775 CPU Cooler - Id use stock cooler for £0.00 as its a budget system that will be fine without.
Silver Mid Tower Case - £18
All above for £194 total (about $390). Bearing in mind that is what It would cost, so would charge about £250 (about $500 with a 25-30% profit).
I would also keep in mind that if you are selling PC's I would ensure people know this is for the PC only without O/S. Obviously this would further add to the cost & sale price.
Intel Pentium Dual Core E2180 2.0GHz - £52
Asrock ConRoe1333-DVI/H (7.1 channel onboard sound, Gb LAN, & onboard VGA) - £29
200Gb Maxtor SATAII 8Mb - £32
2x 512Mb Crucial Ballistix RAM - £28
Optiarc DVD/-+RW - 20x speed IDE - £16
Case - £18
I get this for £175 (about $350). There is an option then to sell it a little lower (to either get more sales) or you could sell it at same price (to get more profit but less sales) or you could sell it with the X300 graphics card you chose for the extra cost, as a gaming option. That way you are offering a slightly cheaper system for students (that want a PC just for work / research), and also you can sell it to those who want something a little more. The CPU is a proven performer, and easily overclocks, sometimes better than the e4500. then you could offer that with an even better graphics card (maybe 3850), beafier RAM (2Gb instead of one) and better HSF as an overclocked system tuned for more advanced gaming.
As you can see it is easily adaptable as you only have to change either the graphics, or double up on RAM to have a wide variety of PC's to sell. As you can guess I sell a fair few of these myself ;o)

I place local posters, have a few business cards held with friends in their small retail shops who recommend me and by word of mouth. I have also got a website that I sell from, so prospective customers can see my items (however I don't tend to get many new sales from web searches).
I used to sell on eBay but got stung alot (worst was having a £400 PC chargedback as the user stated he never bought it and was fraudluent and I lost the lot - seller protection is rubbish!!).
I could sell more but I don't try as I have a full time job.

Then to be honest you might want to offer them locally to start with, cash up front, with delivery / collection next day. That way you have no initial outlay as you have the cash up front before you purchase anything. Also you will get profit as cash in your hand.
3 of these and you have the cost of one system to buy fully as parts. keep doing this, and after a few months you could have enough to buy about 3 systems and keep so they can be sold ASAP.
As more people start to recommend you (down to your quick sales / order turn around), and for your customer service / repairs (as you have 3x systems worth of spares to do repairs etc, whilst you send the faulty item back for a replacement / repair).
I am turning sales away now as I am too busy. Seriously thinking of getting a small shop somewhere and going it alone but too many people do it these days.
