My Wiikey isn't recognizing any discs I burned (I burned every version, every update, etc., using DVD-R, tried everything, doesn't recognize disc). So I'm thinking that this was a soldering problem. Here's a closeup of my soldering job:

Well First of all lay of the solder a lil more.

An try burning a gcos disk, a gcos disk allows you to swap the gcos with the wiikey update.

also if you pop in a wiikey update 1.3 and the gamecube symbol shows up but doesnt let you boot this is definetly your problem.
