Help for fixing disc speed on my modded wii

PLEASE HELP! I bought my wii used already modded with wiifree I was told and it has worked fine ubtil I tried to play SMG and it became semi-bricked. It still worked so I didn't worry much. The other day I burned Sega Master Sytem and tried to play the roms but some how ended up changing the disc speed and now my wii is says "unable to read disc" for all my games. PLEASE HELP I AM LITERALLY WIIFREE!

Wiifree is no longer officially supported. It is unofficially supported thru yaosm - Yet Another Open Source Modchip

I had a brief look and tbh I didn't wanna spend the time trying to understand what the state of play was and get into all the technical stuff but maybe you can find some info there.

If it was me - I'd get the chip taken out and put in a wiikey.
