When I go to burn a video DVD Nero will load the audio codec but not the video one. It worked fine on my old computer with windows me. This computer is useing windows xp. Also I've tried using different codecs and reinstalling Nero.

I'm unable to get one. When it finishes transcoding the menu it closes.

Nero history logs are automatically generated to this location
Nero 7 history log location: Program Files>Nero>Nero 7>Core>NeroHistory

It has been said that the last version of Nero 7 may have change the location.
Program Files\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Ahead\NeroHistory.tx

That is the location of the history log only if using Vista.

I finally updated to nero 7.10.1.2. I have Windows XP SP2 and that's where I found my Nero logs(NV , Recode and NBR logs), in Program Files\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Ahead. The folder Application Data was hidden, so if you search for NeroHistory*.*, enable "Search hidden files and folders". The "Core" folder has no burning logs for me.

@Cyprusrom, Thanks for that, I have only just updated this week and up until 7.9.6.0 they hadnt changed the log location...still trying to find it in location you have supplied...bloody Nero always "stuffing" things up...Cheers
EDIT: Found them, now it looks like they're in seperate folders...one just ends in Ahead the other in Ahead/Nero Burning Rom
2ND EDIT: Also a file located here Documents and Settings/user(gwen)/Recent

Indeed, darn Nero! Out of curiosity, was your "Application Data" folder hidden? Just can't think of the purpose of hiding it...
Also,as you probably have noticed, there is a log for Nero Vision and one for Recode.
