Well, if it is too big, it is too big, reduce the compilation size. Are you trying to burn a CD or a DVD? Is confusing at least from your post...
What firmware do you have ? Post the entire error log.

VideoCD document burn settings

Compilation type : VCD
You are making a VCD compilation, and trying to burn it onto a DVD. You need to burn it onto a CD, not DVD.
Quote: Medium in drive: DVD+RW. Medium required by compilation: CD-R/RW
However, your compilation is too big to fit onto one CD.
Quote: Data to be written: 1,013 MB (1,062,639,616 bytes)
Split it for two CDs, or make a DVD Video instead of a VCD, so you can use DVD media.

No problem myssypyra!
Most of the time all that I do, I use the "Search" function:)!
If you have an AVI that has subtitles and want to convert it to DVD, use DVD Flick(it is free). Subs could be added with Nero Vision also, but is a pain in the arse. If you use high quality settings- 2-pass encoding, will be a little slower, but the resulting DVDs are pretty good.
http://beginwithsoftware.com/videoguides/dvd-flick-guide.html
Now, go on, stare, and stare some more, and more... and forget about the CMC Mag discs(most Memorex, TDK or Imation)...they are evil,evil...you will never put them in your burner. Only Verbatim, Sony, Taiyo Yuden!!
