(FIRST OFF)- Please do not hi-jak me thread and make you'r own...

Im trying to burn a Data DVD (I have done this alot in the past)
i havnt burnt one in a while, but i know how it's done.
Anyway when i get to the very end of
burning my data-dvd it's fails, with the massage of
Quote' -
'Could Not Perform End Of Disc-At-Once'
and all so, i did had nero 7, and then (after getting this message 4 times)
I went and got Nero 8
and it's the same story with Nero 8 as was with Nero 7, and thay are both full versions.

This is pretty low quality media. You're failing when attempting to write the directory for the disk, the very last process. This directory is written to a very specific area of the disk. I'd try some better media like Verbatim.
There's a newer firmware version, version 1.08, available for your burner. This may help solve the problem as well.

thanks for helping, and answering me so quickly,
ill go and get the most expensive discs i can get,
But with the DVD discs, what a good one, because i don't realy understand the whole (+R & -R) thing,

Hi.
The error in the second log is different from the first. The second error ocurred before the writing process could begin. It's hard to say for sure what caused the error. You might try just creating a Nero image file and then try burning that in a separate step. I don't think 16X is too fast for burning a CD, but for a DVD it would certainly be too fast. Also you still have the older 1.06 firmware installed on your burner. Use the link provided to download the newest firmware version and install that to your burner.
