hi ! i got a new hard drive for my old laptop but i cant get my old laptop open !!!! i have got it party open but somethin in the centre of the laptop is not moving !!!! PLEASE HELP !!!!

Lots of different makes of laptops out there. If you want someone to help you, you need to post the make and model number of your laptop.

probably a screw going thru the keyboard thereby holding the 2 pieces together.

Sorry !!!! Itz a Toshiba Satellite 1110 it a pure old one like i found it under my bed lol lol i looked for a screw hole but itz like inside the laptop !!!!! how would i take the key board out ?????

with the laptop upside down & the floppy drive close to you, look at the left side of the laptop for a panel that covers part of the side & bottom, that is probably your hard drive. read this link as has different info for your laptop including user's guide.
