recently when i start Azureus it starts up normaly but as soon as it gets to the main screen it shuts off. I have rstarted it many times and it keeps shutting off.
Does anyone know why this is happening and what i can do to fix it.
The only thing new that i have done is install the new aaware software.
Could that be causing it?
have you installed any new virus protection software lately?
if so make sure it isn't blocked
also make sure the windows fire wall isn't blocking it (although the windows firewall should only block internet access sometimes it blocks
the .exe completely)
other wise reinstall it, here some files maybe missing and it could have gotten corrupted
i have heard of a similar issue with azureus, it seems a dead registry was causing this problem after an azureus update, get ccleaner if a registry issues is caused by a program then ccleaner can usually find it and fix it (epically dead and duplicate registries)
I have'nt installed any new antivirus program.
I have'nr ran ccleaner in a couple of weeks it might be this type of problem, i do'nt think it has anything with a firewall because it does start and goes through the regular booting process it just shuts off as soon as it gets to the main screen.

windows firewall as i said before sometimes doesn't behave, it wont restrect the internet but rather the entire program (.exe), and it can have a delayed response
running the ccleaner wont do anything, you need to go into ccleaner and select the option tools, then scan for issues (this will repair registry problems)
so please try EVERYTHING we suggest and give us RESULTS to how it WENT!

reinstalling the app should fix this as i said before,
start>all applications/programs>
if you tell us the results then we can move forward and try other things;)
