There are a number of ways to do it, the easiest is with DVD2One which has a join split disc function

Joining the VOB sets with VOBedit reathoring with IFOEdit. Then re-encoding to fit on a single side with utility of choice. CCE, DVD2One, Shrink etc..

if the other answer dones not work then this will copy the film in to DVD Decrypter as a .iso file and then use CloneDVD to copy the file this programme will copy the file and put the whole flim on to a 4.7Gb disk for you.
