Hi, after hearing out your explanations i have tried to install the JY08 firmware. Unfortunately the JY08 is unamendable with omnipatcher ver.2.6.2, should i just go ahead with patching with JY08 or unscramble the JY08 firmware? Then work out on the cd-r manufacturer's read and write speeds.

I have noticed that my Verbatim CDs are made by CMC mag...normally I would agree that CMC discs are crappy but for some reason it's NOT the case when it comes to CDs....I have used several hundred without a failure as yet...now when it comes to DVDs..they ARE horrible.
