Hello again. I decided to go ahead and go with this config below. This is my first semi high end computer that I'm going to use mainly for gaming. Things like Oblivion, Doom, WoW, Crysis and Battlefield 2142.
I would like some input or suggestions from the experts here as always. I'm still learning, so when I get to know stuff, ill give back to the afterdawn community =)

This is what I did for 2000 american dollars:
CASE: Apevia X-Jupiter Jr. 420 Watts Case (G Type Black Color with Side-Window)
CPU: (Sckt775)Intel® Core 2 Duo E6850 CPU @ 3.00GHz 1333FSB 4MB L2 Cache 64-bit
MOTHERBOARD: Asus P5N-E nForce 650i SLI Chipset LGA775 FSB1333 DDR2 Mainboard
MEMORY: 2GB (2x1GB) PC6400 DDR2/800 Dual Channel Memory (Mushkin Xtreme w/ Heat Spreader)
VIDEO CARD: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS 512MB 16X PCI Express (EVGA)
VIDEO CARD 2: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS 512MB 16X PCI Express (EVGA)
HARD DRIVE: Single Hard Drive (200GB SATA-II 3.0Gb/s 8MB Cache 7200RPM HDD)
Thermaltake ToughPower 600 Watt Power Supply
2 Extra Case fans and 1 CPU cooling fan
SOUND: Creative Labs SB Audigy SE
Windows XP Home Edition w/ SP2 (not a big fan of Vista)
Killer K1 10/100/1000 Gigabit High Speed Online Gaming PCI Network Interface Card
And lastly, professional grade internal wiring and a floppy drive.

As always, thanks for your advice!

I'd give it a 8/10. If you're going to spend the money for a e6850, then why not get a Q6600?

I would get a different motherboard, that board is nothing but trouble. One of our members had it and it died on him. Many other people have problems with it too. If you want SLI then get a 680i motherboard.

With both Cards fully accelerated is is max 300 watts they are using. Plus Cpu, Fans, Memory, hd, dvd, and so on. I Would Upgrade the Power Supply just to make sure you are not under powering the machine. And If You are planning to overclock your comp then it will be needed.

Case: Moderate
Processor: Excellemnt
Motherboard: Very poor
Memory: Good
Video cards: Excellent
Hard drive: Unknown, brand not listed
Power supply: Very good
Sound card: Very good
OS: Excellent
Networking: Unnecessary

Overall rating 75% - motherboard is ill-advised, rest of the components are all good, but the SLI setup is perhaps a little OTT for most uses, and the network card was, frankly, a waste. Case is personal preference as far as styling goes, but Apevia aren't one of the top brands.

Wait,

Quote:
CASE: Apevia X-Jupiter Jr. 420 Watts
Does that case come with a PSU? I was looking at that same case - I kinda want it too... But I dont feel like transferring all my watercooling and stuff to that one.

The case is awsome.

Sam, remember that NZXT case that you posted a while back? If that one doesn't come out, I think this is the one I'll get.

But anyways, if that case you want comes with a PSU try to see if there is one that doesn't come with one. It will probably save you a bit of cash.

See, I don't really like that case, primarily for the looks. It is huge though.
As for the NZXT Tempest, I'm thinking of getting a second Lexa (but a Blackline series one) since I can use my LAN carrybag with it.

All I can squeeze out of the NZXT Lounge is "Q1 08" so it shouldn't be too long...
