Been coming here for years but this is my first post because I have always been able to use these posts to solve problems. I'm having problems burning dvds. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. I found out some problems like the DMA was off and I fixed that. Nero is not working on the burn process. It doesn't matter if I recode and try to put it on single layer or if I copy at normal size and use dual layer. It has worked many times before whether it needed to be encrypted or not. some of the dvds do not have the copyright protection but it still is not working. I have included the log file to see if anyone with knowledge in this matter can help. Thanks so much. I do notice that one area does say check supported media is disabled but do not know if this is causing the problem. This is trying all types of media whether it is verbatim or whatever. I have asked on other forums but the replies I'm getting are just get rid of nero Is there anything I can do besides this?

I am not gonna say get rid of Nero, just use something else to burn, like ImgBurn . If ImgBurn is successful, then we can blame Nero.
If Nero became buggy,it should updated to the latest version, 6.6.1.18. Use Nero 6 Clean Tool from Nero's web site to remove current Nero before you install the update.
Use good media( you said you have Verbatim).
Another cause could be your burner's firmware, faulty burner/cables.
