R4 Problem

Alright, just got myself an R4 and for about 2 weeks everything was hunky-dory. 2 days ago, while playing a game (Lunar Knights if you must know) I loaded a save file for it to say it was corrupted, and that it would send be back to the last one. It didn't do that again after saving and reloading. After that little incident, everything was fine until the next morning when I booted it up, and my data was COMPLETELY gone. I left it alone for the rest of the day. When I turned it on again EVERYTHING save the moonshl files and whatever was normally on there was gone. I'm experimenting with it now, but does anybody know what could have happened?

You might have not have enough space (512 KB) to replace you old .SAVE file and it crashed after playing time.
