When you click to buy now it asks you if you want a back up copy for things like if your system crashs or other issues.

What are you talking about,once you buy it you have it for life including all future upgrades,you only pay once,just make a couple of backups of your redgistration email as well as a written paper copy of your serial number & your set,i've not bothered to check but i think your redgistration details are stored by the company for future recovery.

ahhh ok just use a RW disk & burn the download to it,as it's continually updated.

It does say you can purchase a CD but you can make that yourself.
