Nero Ultra (Enhanced)7.8.5.0 wont install

I am trying to install Nero Ultra (Enhanced)7.8.5.0 and everything is going ok until you get to the last screen, where it installs the program and it just sits there. When I look in the task manager is shows the program still running. I left it for a good 5 mintues and it was still just sitting there. I have ran all the programs to remove previous neros and that doesnt help. I have nero 7 essentials and i can install that. It is really wiered, if I download the nero 7 update from nero's webpage it does the same things. Any clues??? I shut off my virus and firewalls. I dont know what to do.

I would also say give it more than just 5 minutes. I think I let mine like that for at least 10 minutes, only because in task manager it said the program was still working. Same with uninstalling, Nero Clean Tool just sat there looking like it was doing nothing for over 10 minutes, but was still working.I let it do its thing.... But my machine is rather antique...

uninstall any nero version, also empty your temp folders by running a
disk clean up (can be done with the control panel as well as ccleaner)
it could be a registry issue, ccleaner fixes many registry issues caused by installers,
http://www.ccleaner.com/
run ccleaner
go to the issues area
select "scan for issues"
then repair all the issues that pop up!
i can also suggest uninstalling the previous version of nero before installing the new one
did you get the trail version?
it could also be the setup file, download a new one

find your version here and download the tool and run it!
uninstall it (with the tool), then install and give it some more time to install, if you have a slow processor or low ram it may take a awhile to install
