I have an old Toshiba laptop (2-4 years old). It has Windows XP Home Edition with SP2. It runs perfectly. My friend got into it and changed the background color to green in the BIOS. When it boots up, the lettering is white and the background is green. I reset the BIOS to factory default and it's still green. He went into the BIOS and pressed Fn and F-something to change the color. I reinstalled Windows XP and it's still green, so I know the change is not on the OS level, it's on the BIOS level. I spoke to Toshiba techs and they said they didn't have a clue how to change the color. Any help is appreciated.

Sorry, I looked through the link you provided. It's not even in the downloadable PDF manual. (Big sigh). Do you know of any hotkey or Fn + ?? key to change color. I was browsing a different forum and they said Shift + F2 on some desktops to change the color. It works on some BIOS computers, but not my laptop. Any ideas? I really don't think he's that much smarter than anyone else.
