very expesive error on recording to dvd-R double layer

I have tried twice to record to a DVD+R disk with Nero 7.0.1.4b
My DVD burner a Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-K06 according to the spec
the DVD write is DVD-Write: -R, -RW, +R, +RW, +R DL
The OS iss XP pro SP2

i should mention this is a .iso file i am burnimg not a vid or audio
its a philips DVD the code on the disk as far as i can read is
07242 801 +R DL C C 12657

As I said the media is a problem.

Where did you get the Q609 firmware?
You should edit the serial numbers at the top of the log.

the media is on a imac.
i got it to work useing a philips disk with the imgburn sotfware as i have a triple boot sysstem. and i think if you install wine on a mac
win progs most of them work,
