hello
i have an external hard drive will some videos and other things on and i have turned it on and now it wont let me copy anthing from my external or play my videos and the windows delayed file ( YELLOW TRIANGLE ) keeps cumming up

please help

Is there a message that comes with the yellow triangle?

Was there drivers that come with your external HDD (If so re-install them)

Has the drive taken any knocks recently?

And could you please post the name make an model of your external HDD

i turned it off and back on and then lots of yellow triangles kept coming up and after they finished it workes fine now what caused this?

man you just said you have a box that makes yellow triangles....that has a HDD in it...it would help if you gave us INFO on....WTF it is (brand/name/model)0-o

Yes but thats like saying "I have this trouble with my car engine how do I fix it "yet wont say what kind of car or engine, in order for us to help we need to know the NAME of the external drive, then we can look up info on it.

We can help you if you can give us a bit more info thats all.

OK...... Calm down.

The yellow triangle just means there was a connection problem between your external an your computer.

It only shows to let you know there is a problem.

But i agree with ZippyDSM more info on what your external an current set up would have helped a bit more.

Just remember for your next post. Im glad its working now.

no worries we all get like that lol no probs sorry about my fault with lack of info
