EVERY time i load moonshell with my r4ds, no matter what version it is an error message always pops up for a second that says "error trying to find the disc or file" and some other stuff. its not the micro sd card cuz i have 2 and it does the same thing on both. moonshell works 100% (except very few times it crashes though) do i just have a defective r4? i have the older one, the one with the spring micro sd slot

Mine acts similiarly. It always throws errors and spits a whole screen of text. Then it goes on and plays and works fine. I have the latest firmware on a 2GB card, with a spring-loaded R4 as well. I haven't figured out what the problem is either. At this point I ignore it because it goes on and works.

I have tried the ipod clone thing for music and it works nicely. Look at it and see if you like it.

hm im not seeing the ipod clone...but o well moonshell works fine just glad to here that im not the only one lol
