Burn video_ts questions

So i have this movie with video_ts files. I want to burn it using IMGBURN and here is what I was looking at http://www.dvdplusvideo.com/Guides/alkohol_guide5.html.
When i pressed the calculate button it said that it was missing a file, and i can choose to continue ( so i did because i noe that all the chapters are there and i was able to play on wmp).When I pop the dvd into my Pioneer DIvx player, it just play the beginning where that there is the copywrite and it stop playing (says resume off and it didn't allow me to press menu). When I put the dvd into a regular dvd player, it did the same thing, stop playing after the copywrite, but this time i was able to press menu and play the movie.
After the burning, i can't play on the computer either (said that there isn't a program to play it)

So my question is: What format is that video_ts files and what the hell did i burn in the first place that i can't play on my computer?

What files were reported missing? Seems like you're missing some IFO files.

You are right!...When i pressed calculate
"it said could not find VTS_03.IFO file. Do you want to continue anyway?"

So what should i do? this is the uploadder's fault right?

Create the needed files with IFOEdit.

. I'm a newbie and i'd been reading around. So how can i create VTS_03_0.IFO if i don't have the VTS_03_0.bup or VTS_03_0.vob
