I don't know if this is the right place for this, but I need help. I recently got a new PC with windows vista included in it along with a dvd burner. sadly I don't have the neccicary program to convert files to video_ts. Another downer is Nero wont work on vista, or atleast my old Nero program won't. I have an external DVD burner but I need to convert my files to video_ts or .ISO. That is my problem, any solutions would greatly be appresiated.

tilmaril,
You can use DVDFab HD Decrypter to rip DVDs. By ripping, you yield a VIDEO_TS folder. Alternatively, you can use ImgBurn instead of Nero. What version of Nero do you have?

If you have Vista on your comp then you are going to need a version of Nero later than 7.5.9.0....if your Nero has an app named NeroVision then you can burn your AVI files using that app....there is a guide in my sig by alkohol...check it out.
