Hello! I'm searching for a region free code to unlock this vcr/dvd player. I've been to some of the websites and googled for it but nothing comes up. It's sold in mass quantities at walmart so I'd assume there's one out there. Thanks for any help.

It's actually made by Funai. You have to download a region free firmware ISO, (if you can find one!) burn it to a CD, and boot the player with the disk in it.

I have searched long and hard today only to come up empty handed. Guess I'll just purchase a new dvd player that can be region free'd easier.

Why not just by the Toshiba HD-A3? Region free at it's best, not to mention it can play HD DVD as well.
