When broadcasting a video on my HDD to my TV through an S-video and composite audio plugs, i hear a profound "humming" noise from my speakers.

I checked the sound card with a local set of speakers and headphones - no humming. No humming at all when i am playing the audio through my PC speakers, in analog or digital mode.

I have used 2 different audio-in ports on my TV and two different 1/8" to Audio L/R cables connected to my analog line-out on my sound card. I've even tried the front headphone port (Audigy Live! drive) to no avail.

TV audio-in ports, check. Soundcard line-out, check.
Computer sound, check. Different cables, check.

What else could be causing this problem? The only things i've added to the area since before this problem presented itself are an external firewire hdd (plugged into the audio cards firewire port) and a new graphics card. I turned off the external hdd and the humming is still there and i fail to see how a Video Card can produce humming in the cable line-out.
