sorry if this has already been answered in another thread, but i couldn't seem to find anything.
I've just been to Japan, and bought a DS lite, micro sd card and a product called codefreak (type II). I can't read Kanji so I can't read the guide book.
I have put some nds roms on to the micro sd card. One of them is an application i found on a website, the others are ds game roms. When i put the micro sd card in to the cartridge, and the cartridge in to the DS it works fine. It allows me to navigate to the NDS launcher. It recognises the nds files on the sd card, and allows me to highlight the files.
This is where i start having problems. If I select the nds application i downloaded, the screen goes black for about 15 seconds, and then the application loads (and works fine). If I select one of the nds game files, the screen goes white and nothing else happens. I have to turn the ds off and back on.
I've tried using the card on a uk ds, and the same thing happens.
Is anyone familiar with this product? It might be something really simple that I haven't done, but I've just done what i thought it obvious.
I should add that in the manual it tells you to create 4 folders on the micro sd card: CODEFREAK, NDS, MP3 AND SAVES - which I have done, and I have put all nds files in the nds folder.
